    LANWAR VI : The Aftermath

Well Lanwar seems to have been another hit, with the game going all the way! GG to all our survivors.

Congrats to Bengley to nabbed top spot with what only could have been called a killing spree.

    LanWar : Final Scores

    LanWar : Blow-By-Blow

As always we are now opening the floor to suggestions and improvements, I expect there will be another game at i47 barring some horrible disfiguring injury (WK cant get any uglier, he just cant!)

    Final prizes were:

    1st : 11 points : £30 : Bengly
    2nd : 6 points : £20 : Darthmatto
    3rd : 5 points : £10 : garywoo

We had no special prizes this time, something we aim to rectify for next event. Signups for Lanwar VII are live NOW!. Get your names down asap for more shenanigans.

Go here to sign up: LanWar : Events List

Note: as seating is currently unavailable, you will get an error when you signup. As long as you have selected a valid seat on the Multiplay seat picker before LanWar signups close, your registration for the game will be accepted.

Just to confirm: You don't need to have your seat BEFORE you sign up. Just before the signups close.

I thought it was a laugh but I don't think I will be signing up again.

It seems like you can't get too far in the game unless your 100% dedicated, even though its fun I didn't pay to play lanwar

Also that guy who won, all he did was harass people all day, literally stood behind my mate for 3 hours slapping stickers on him. (thats why he got so many disarms).

I just felt that took the fun away, if I was him I would of just turned around and said have it, I am here to play games not have some spotty kid follow me all day at lan.

PS - The rules seemed to work fine.

It really depends why you come to the lan. Lots of people come to the iseries for the social aspect more than the "lan" aspect, which is where this game comes in. It encourages interaction with people you might not normally speak to.

Like i said, the game was fun and I liked it.

But I had tournments to play etc etc on Saturday and just didn't have ENOUGH time as some other people playing the game.

    It was fun though.

I call unfairness! ...okay not really, but my early and easy death was entirely the fault of scumbag Reaper, waking me up far too early and distracting me heavily with a World of Tanks tournament I had to play in. I swear I'll do better next time...
